Ali Lari is an architect and project manager with international experience on the delivery of projects in different scales and specialties, including the world’s second largest cancer facility, Kuwait Cancer Center. Ali was the American Institute of Architects Middle East chapter’s President and the Chair of its 2018 Conference and Design Awards in Bahrain. Ali believes in engaging the wider community in dialog towards a more representative, sustainable, and equitable built environment. He is a registered architect in Bahrain and New York, PMP, LEED GA certified and a certified arbitrator. He also co-founded and hosts in-depth conversations on Minwar Podcast.
A private equity investor with Ezdehar Management – a leading Egypt focused PE fund manager with more than US$ 250 million of AUM – where he focuses on leading new investments and co- leads Ezdehar’s portfolio management and ESG efforts. Amr is a member of the firm’s portfolio committee and often takes a hands-on leadership role in the implementation of transformation initiatives at its portfolio companies. Prior to co-founding Ezdehar, Amr was a Senior Associate with Vodafone Ventures, where he invested in frontier technologies to extend Vodafone’s reach beyond voice and data propositions.

She has also been listed as Top 50 Most Influential Women in Islamic Business and Finance in 2019 and 2021 by Cambridge IFA. Wajeeha is an external advisory board member for Collage of Business and Finance at Ahlia University and was an advisory board member in Bahrain FinTech Bay.

Ehab is a Graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science- Cairo University and completed his MBA with focus on Finance in 2006 from the Arab Academy for Science & Technology.
Started his banking career in 2003 and worked in several banks across retail, corporate and transactional banking before joining HSBC in March 2007 where he has been working in Corporate Banking till date across both Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
He is currently Head of Multinationals Coverage in HSBC Bank Egypt since April 21. Ehab is multilingual with perfect command of English, German and Arabic.
With 15 years in the field of technology, Eman ElRouby brings in extensive experience in Digital Transformation and Technology Consulting. Throughout her career, Eman is focused on enabling and supporting prominent organizations and government entities in their journey towards business transformation by adopting disruptive technologies and innovative solutions. Eman received her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the American University in Cairo and her passion for technology has led her to take challenging roles across the region as part of the Technology and Consulting teams in some of the leading global technology and Advisory companies such as IBM, Microsoft, and IDC as well as local startups
Haneen Zabin, the CEO of Lanceley consulting, A management company specialized in Education and Training in Bahrain. Her educational background includes a BA in Modern Languages, a Master Diploma in TEFL and a Diploma in PMP. Haneen upholds the basic tenets and the business acumen of projects development in the field of Education to produce tangible results based on planning realistic goals and action plans. Haneen started her professional career as an English teacher in UAE and with her credentials, work ethics, endurance, and leadership competencies, she managed to overcome the challenges to rise among the ranks and became a CEO within a faster pace in her career.
A former diplomat from Bahrain. She served as Deputy Permanent Representative of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York as well as Deputy Head of Mission of Bahrain to the United Kingdom in London. Her previous positions include Advisor to the Foreign Minister and Counsellor to the President of the 61st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics and Economics from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science degree in Politics of the World Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Heba Hakky is the Chief Investment Officer for Shari Holding, a newly established tech-enabled NBFI platform in Egypt. Heba also acts as Egypt Country Advisor for liwwa, a Jordan based technology-enabled SME lending company.
She started her career at the Ministry of Finance in Egypt before joining Actis, one of the largest emerging markets private equity firms worldwide. Heba’s experience also spans multinational organizations including Vodafone Group in the UK as well as first-time private equity funds in Egypt.
Heba holds an MBA from London Business School and a BBA from the American University in Cairo.
He also sits on the Board of Directors of Credit Libanais Bank in Lebanon since November 2019 and is a member of the International Capital Markets Association (“ICMA”), and a member of the ACI Financial Markets Association (“ACI”).
Hesham holds a Master’s degree in International Business Administration from Instituto de Empressa (“IE Business School”) in Madrid, and a BA in Business from the Arab Academy for Science & Technology.
He is also a Certified Portfolio Manager from the Egyptian Investment Management Association, and has two Diplomas in Banking Credit and Corporate Finance from the American University in Cairo. He is also a member of different business forums such as the EJB, Amcham and the T20 group for Egypt.
Khalid Machchate is the youngest Royal advisor and policy maker in Morocco’s history, nominated by His Majesty the King Mohammed the 6th to serve on His advisory committee at the Morocco Royal Commission for National Development.
Khalid was also titled the first Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 Entrepreneur in the Maghreb region for his activities as founder and chairman of multinational consulting group K&W Technologies, with clients in over 70 countries ranging from financial institutions such as World Bank IFC and EBRD, to governments in 4 continents, to global tech giants of the likes of Huawei and Microsoft. He also serves as division director for Innovation, Technology, and Investment at global mining and chemicals leader and Fortune 1000 corporation: OCP Group.
He managed as regional director of the US State Department backed Silicon Valley acceleration & investment program DEMO Africa, helping African startups raise over $80 MM and establish in the valley.

Majd has created and implemented several top-of-the-line sustainability programs which aimed at advancing decarbonization and green building principles in the MENA region. He led several studies and publications on energy efficiency and zero energy buildings which resulted in establishing the first publicly available industry benchmarks for energy and water performance of existing buildings in the UAE, as well as offering the first definition for Net Zero Energy Buildings in the MENA. Majd holds a master’s degree in Renewable Energy, bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, CEM, LEED AP and TRUE Advisor credentials.
Marwa has over twelve years of experience in development programs, acceleration programs, startup mentorship, investment management and business development. Marwa leads the development of human capital and enterprise support programs at Tamkeen, Bahrain, where she works with the world’s leading emerging skills training organizations to upskill the next generation of Bahraini innovators. Marwa led acceleration programs across MENA, where she spearheaded entrepreneurial program design and deployment across Bahrain, Oman and the UAE. Over the last few years, Marwa supported over 75 startups in accessing a network of over 1000 corporates, strategic partners, mentors and investors to enable them to effectively scale and grow.
In this role Ghamry is responsible for the UAE Trade Finance business leading more than 100 trade finance professionals, working with corporate and institutional clients in the UAE to finance their working capital and facilitate their Global trade. In addition to this, Ghamry is working with clients to structure and deliver solutions to optimize access to supply chains and digitize the trade transaction banking journey.
In his prior role as Regional Head of Trade Services Ghamry led 300 team members across 8 Countries including 2 offshore service centers. Notable work included the establishment of the first trade finance service center in Cairo and adoption of AI and robotic technology to enhance the customer

Mohamed has held Regional and Country roles across the Middle East covering both the Global Trade and Corporate Banking space with expertise in manufacturing, trading and service industries.

Yasmin graduated summa cum laud from the from the American University Cairo with a BA in Business Administration and Economics, and holds an MBA with a focus on Finance and Production Operation Management also from the AUC.
Yasmine Negm is an experienced C-suit executive with 18 years’ international experience in pharmaceuticals, private equity, building materials & telecommunications. She has extensive experience in ESG, marketing communications, and institutional investor relations. operational excellence & partnerships. Ms. Negm is currently leading the Institutional Investor Relations, Sustainability & Corporate Governance functions at Rameda Pharmaceuticals.
Yasmine is a certified Corporate Director from the International Finance Corporation – Egyptian Institute of Directors program and was awarded Egypt’s first Financial Regulatory Authority Women Leadership Award in 2020 & the International Women Fellowship Program in partnership with INSEAD & Harvard Business School scholarship in 2021. She is also a certified Investor Relations Professional from the Investor Relations Society in the UK. Negm holds a bachelor’s in Political Science and a master’s degree in Economic Development from the American University in Cairo.
Youssef is an investment banking professional with 12+ years of experience focused on capital markets and energy finance. He works as Senior Manager Advisory and Capital Markets at the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) based in Cairo. Prior to that he served as Director of Egypt Coverage at BNP Paribas based in Bahrain where he originated and executed USD 30bn+ worth of transactions across debt capital markets, project finance, M&A advisory and risk management. Youssef graduated with MSc Public Policy from the London School of Economics (LSE) on fellowship from Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation.
